Femke & Björn celebrated their wedding day in their family home in Hilversum - it’s not every day we get to experience a more personal side of their life and surroundings. Additionally, the couple were blessed to experience truly gorgeous wild fields and blooming purple heide, which I wait for all year. This was one of the most beautiful locations that we experienced in 2021.
Serendipitously Covid restrictions had eased during this period - so Femke & Björn, together with their friends and family, were lucky to enjoy such an intimate and personal event in a space that was theirs and theirs only. Every last detail was thought about for the personal touches throughout the ceremony and dinner, from a classic champagne tower, cozy lanterns and the best dressed musicians.
A soft romantic, wild and natural palette of florals matched the location perfectly, with wild grasses, thistles, roses, hydrangea and preserved ruscus leaves. Angela Bloemsaat and Over the Moon Weddings were a dream team to work together wit, as the result was just magic.
We have dearly missed celebrations of love!
